Our friends of the artist community "Monster Island", based in an old warehouse in Williamsburg, NY, had a paint pouring today headed up by artist Maya Hayuk.

It had me thinking again about colour theory and the use, and over use, of colour, as well as the psychological repercussions.

James Turrell is a very interesting artist in that his works draw from perceptual psychology as well as his Quaker background.
His hypnotic, almost sentient works using light as sculpture has obviously been a massive influence on our works, particularly the use of light to create depth and shape, and the lessons on restraint in colour palette use.
